Will is starting a new job at an ALD company. Asked if it’s with sputter and the specs, he couldn’t find the patent online.
He is in Denmark with his girlfriend finally. He asked me what’s going on with the chips stuff I said another day. He told me they have a new CFO from OxfordPV so they are definitely aiming for solar cell people, university isn’t that big of a market anyways
Later I found out it’s liquid ALD-that means it’s not gaseous/ doesn’t need sputter. It’s using solutions as precursor
My take:
Europe is already behind on this. Renewables, energy storage, grid. They won’t be able to catch up, not with this nonsense in the EU. Not only an ALD company- the entire supply chain. I mean the ENTIRE supply chain from glass, deposition of semiconductor materials, to solar cell products and batteries. Even they have fantastic technology, engineers, and money to start with. failure in governance in real time
Not as positive as him unless there are some drastic change in the seriousness and efficiency of how Europeans treat technology development
My sister asked if I tried the magnetic eyelash. I said I’ve seen it but haven’t tried. The old me would 1000% sure tried. I used to love and collect all kinds of weird lashes. I had those EXTREMELY long fake lashes that you can see from a mile away. Then I gradually fell out of love with lashes and fell in love with more sleep.
