In all seriousness, I would like to change my situation. But at the same time I’ve never been so content, like right now. I don’t have a job, my career and relationship trajectory are basically blank pages, while I watch my peers take off in whatever direction. My family’s finances is still in trouble, and I’m terrified to see each day my mum’s wrinkles get deeper and her face lose the plumpy structure she used to have. It’s strange why I feel so satisfied and happy, I guess it’s related to finally having a break after 10 full years of travel and rare chance for all of us to see each other so often.
