Had a very nice dinner. I was actually excited about the food. Picked some dandelion leaves in the park. And bought a few plants. Fresh salad!!! 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 Good food makes me really content.

Listen to an interview with Kissinger. Wow.

大国雄略。Can tell this is a mindset of a big player.

I like how he’s so unemotional about both sides. I agree with most stuff he said about China. China did not historically have a good relationship with Russia, but never a horrible one either. A bit like Germany and France. (keep invading each other. but not as extreme tho😂) I think more western politicians should listen to what he said, which I think the current generation politicians do not understand (at least Liz truss lol)- China is sick of the condescending rule and world view of America, have no interest moral policing and did what Americans did to impose American values, and Taiwan for China is never and will never be something that can be negotiated or separated.

CCP was tough on Taiwan problem 50 years ago when China was hungry and poor why anyone think its gonna give up now?????????

And i think it’s very funny he said the media drove him nuts hahahhahaha but he understands that’s how the game works

Also interestingly I think the ‘condescending way of thinking’ reflect on those ordinary people from English speaking country, especially when people deeply believe in the ideological superiority. Which I think it’s a bit silly because different land(beginning resource, geography, population) give birth to different culture, and, different policies. Surely it’ll become more equalized and ‘common’ when goods and resources move around- but i can’t even get eggs nowadays lmao

I think it’s a pity I’ve never met any British people that’s actually interested in China. It also make sense tho- the people are are probably in China already.

War makes a country and a country makes war. I can’t remember who said this and the exact phrase. China is a country of many many many many many war, so it had lots of interesting politics. it’s a pile of hundred thousand of death every dynasty change. (Read a stats today during the three kingdom era around 20 million people died😨) So China, the idea itself, was a testing ground of all form of government, philosophy and policies humans ever came up with, with lots of dead bodies.

Sad realization: I don’t really have people to talk to and have a discussion about those stuff. Probably why I keep a diary.

I must have said it a million times: I like old people talking. It’s like condensed experience and wisdom.

I aim to be a hot wise fun grandma.
