Had to wake up at 7 again and start to talk to people.

Maybe I should start selling my genes. I said. We laughed. I was actually thinking about eggs but didn’t say it out loud.

I got my first ever FTP opened. That means we are officially, a serious chip designer a fab is willing to work with. I’m so proud. I also got my hands on the cypress core. Most of the time I’m stressed by how much work there needs to be done and the things I aim to deliver, today I would really like to relax and appreciate how much I’ve done in the last couple of months.

I was talking to my mum yesterday, being as always worried how I shall deliver this whole thing and where to get the money next. Then I realised I’m getting this far mainly because of her.

She was as chill as ever. Just like the grant situation, she barely moved a brow.

You never came home empty handed. She said. Remember you were 5 and we went to that competition and you told me with so much confidence, wait outside and prepare to take the prize home? You look unhappy being the runner up, but you did came home with a prize. And the next year you came second, and next you came first.

What she said made me feel a lot better.
