I have wait for 5 months, the test kit has arrived. It consist of a blood sugar monitor, a poop test kit, finger prick blood test kit, and 2 packs of muffins.

The day before I was suppose to put on the monitor, but it has a needle inside and I was terrified. My palms get sweaty. So I procrastinated for an entire day until 11 pm, when I finally decided to suck it up and do it. It was very fast, doesn’t feel painful at all. I feel slightly embarrassed how I overreacted. Slight uncomfort throughout the day.

This morning I had the first pack of muffin, they taste disgusting, like rubber with sugar, fast for 4 hours, had the second pack fast another 2 hours. I suspect it’s the muffins that gave me diarrhea, because I felt sick after having them and I didn’t had anything else following the test. I decided to do the poo test too just to not leave anything for tomorrow. So I used the paper thingy provided, stick on the toilet seat, to catch the poo. I had a good look of my (diarrhea) poo first time ever, the last time I’ve been so close with human poo was 11 years ago, to change my niece’s diaper. To my surprise it’s not completely watery, it’s elastic and sticky, and hard to scoop to the test tube. I accidentally spilled some test tube liquid inside the toilet bowl while I was focusing on scooping poo. I’m hoping the test would still be valid and I don’t need to do another.🤞 Finally I did the blood test. A few drops to a card and wait for it to dry. The instructions said it’ll test a few biomarkers but didn’t specify.

Unfortunately it’s bank holiday on Monday. A bit worried about my test results.
